| Composed of eight short films helmed by seven directors, this undeniably cute anthology revolves around dogs, but in surprisingly different ways. In the short feature "My Number One," an impromptu musical battle erupts when two dog owners cross paths in the park and get a little too competitive about who has the better dog! In one great story, a perseverant pup brings his owners, a now bickering couple, back together while in another, we meet up with a man who invents the "Bowlingual" translator to find out what dogs are really saying when they bark! There's even a hilariously unconventional romantic comedy featuring not only two very non-human lead actors but one of the oddest couples to ever be featured on the silver screen - a Chihuahua and a Bulldog (voiced by Arakawa Yoshiyoshi), both locked in a romance of Romeo and Juliet proportions! But even with all the humor and cuddliness, it's not all fun and games in All About My Dog - some parts of the film aim to touch the audience's hearts with several sad, poignant, and undeniably moving moments, as the overall film tries to bring to light the powerful emotional tie between man and dog and the underlying importance of companionship and unconditional love! |  |
